How it works

Three steps take you from a free account to live 1-on-1 coaching.

Step 1: Sign up — free.

Create your account at member.hi-mandarin.com/signup. 10 sample video modules open the moment you register, so you can see the teaching style before any payment: short business scenarios, and the sentences to use in them.

Step 2: Activate the Explorer subscription.

$5/month, with half returned each month during the Pilot ($2.50/month effective). Activation opens the complete video library and lets you book your First Lesson. The 3-month Pilot countdown begins here, and you can cancel the subscription anytime.

Step 3: Your First Lesson.

A live 1-on-1 session with a certified Teaching Assistant, a native speaker with a degree in teaching Mandarin. It is not an assessment. In the session itself:

your TA teaches you 2–3 phrases ready to put to work in a business setting,
your level shows naturally in the conversation, with no quiz,
and the two of you map your personal learning path for the months ahead.

(In the booking interface, this session is listed as "Lead-in Session.")

If your First Lesson isn't for you, you get your money back.

What unlocks when:

Free account: 10 sample video modules.
Explorer activation: the full video library, plus First Lesson booking.
First Lesson completed: Credits purchase and full 50-minute 1-on-1 tutor sessions, at Pilot prices.

From there: buy Credits at 50% off, book tutor sessions for the topics your learning path points to, and slot 20-minute speaking practice between them to keep new phrases active.
